David has over 30 years experience in forest management planning, strategic analysis, and modeling. His academic qualifications include a B.Sc.F., University of Toronto; an M.B.A., York University; and a Ph. D. (Agricultural Economics), University of Guelph. He has worked as a forest manager in Ontario and British Columbia, an educator, and a consultant. David has authored numerous scientific articles and technical reports and has presented several papers at international forestry conferences. He is a member of the Ontario Professional Forester Association, Canadian Institute of Forestry, Ontario Forestry Association, and the Society of American Foresters.

Christopher Gynan, M.Sc.F., R.P.F., ISA Certified Arborist
Vice President, Operations
Chris has 14 years experience in forest management planning, reforestation and research. His academic qualifications include a B.Sc.F. and M.Sc.F., University of Toronto. He has worked as a consultant in Ontario for woodlot owners, industry, government, and First Nations. Chris is a member of the Ontario Professional Forester Association, and the International Society of Arboriculture. He is involved in the local community by serving as a council member of York Environmental Stewardship. Chris also manages and fundraises afforestation programs in the Town of Aurora's Lundy Park through the Town's Adopt-a-Park Program.

Manager of Eastern Operations
Rob has over 20 years experience in forest management planning, silvicultural operations and forest certification. His academic qualifications include a B.Sc.F. from the University of Toronto. He has worked as a forest manager in Ontario with the provincial government and the forest industry on Crown, industrial and private lands. Rob is a member of the Ontario Professional Foresters Association and the Canadian Institute of Forestry.

Leighanne Howard, Ecosystem Management Technician
Senior Field Technician
Leighanne joined Silv-Econ in 2004 and has experience in all services offered by the company. Leighanne has a diploma in Ecosystem Management from Sir Sandford Fleming College. She specializes in forest inventories, municipal tree health assessments, and GIS mapping. Leighanne is a member of the Ontario Forestry Association.
